While you spend most of your energy deciding on you bridal look that can be seen, just as important is what lies underneath. Lingerie serves more purposes than just impressing your new husband. Depending on the style of gown, selecting the right style of lingerie to give you support is important. Nothing will ruin an outfit quicker than seeing lines protruding through your gown fabric from unsuitable choice of lingerie.

If your gown is tightly fitted try to select undergarments that have a smooth texture without protruding detail, this will avoid it from showing through.

If your gown is strapless you may choose a tourselette as apposed to a strapless bra. The tourselette serves two purposes, the first as support in the bust area, another holding you in at the waist giving you nice curves.

Whether you choose to wear stockings is totally up to you and a little dependant upon what season you will be married in. The are two types, stay ups and stockings that require you to wear a suspender belt. If you have never worn stay ups before it may be a good idea to try them out prior to wearing them on the big day. They have a tendency to roll down on some body shapes

Consider your dress and the best look for it and you on the day

Be sure to check the overall appearance, not forgetting comfort. You could be in the lingerie up to 10 hours or more!

Always get professional advice and fitting.

Shop around for choice and range of styles and sizes.

Choose your lingerie in a friendly and relaxed environment with qualified and experienced staff.
